BYU GAME

We went to the BYU opener game this weekend. My boys were so excited to go. I wasn't feeling to hot at the game. I think it was lack of sleep and heat exhaustion so I told Matt if BYU is up 4 touchdowns lets go at half time. Well BYU was ahead 4 touchdowns at the half and my sweet loving husband agreed to leave the game. On the way home the other team came close in the 3rd quarter but BYU held off winning the game 41-17.

Girls night out (Swiss Days)

All of the girls in my family had a girls night out and went to Swiss Days in Midway and stayed in a Condo at the Ziermont. Becky my sister in law's aunt let us stay in her condo. It was Awesome. We spent most of the night at Swiss Days. We all bought some cute crafts. Then we went back to the condo and got in the hot tub. We stayed up late talking and eating chips-n-salsa. Then the next morning my mom rant the 10k in the morning taking 1st in her division. I told her next year I will run it with her. I better start training now. After the race we went to Park City and went shopping at the outlet mall. I can't wait till next year. I always enjoy getting out with the girls.

You probably wondering why I picked Handlebars by the Flobots on my playlists. My boys just love this song. Every time they here it on the radio they tell us to turn it real loud and they sing it. Even Ellie tries to sing it.

First Day of School

Brandon has Miss Keel this year. He had her for Kindergarten and she was awesome. She is a great teacher. He is very excited to have her again. Plus she is a big BYU fan!!! Brandon thinks that is cool!!

Garrett will have Mrs. Lee this year. I hope he will like her. One day I overheard him tell a friend that he was going to have the meanest teacher ever. I heard she is a little strict but that is probably good for Garrett.

I am kind of sad that summer is over, but I am very excited that school has started. I knew there was one good thing of having Garrett and Brandon 18 months apart. They both are in school all day now. Garrett is in 2nd grade this year. Brandon is in 1st grade.

Mollie our puppy

Garrett begged us for two months to get a dog so we finally gave in and got a puppy. It is a maltese scottie. The mother is a purebred scottish terrier and the father is a purebred maltese. The boys love the dog but the newness is over. So she is my dog. Ellie was afraid of dogs but now she loves them. She loves letting Mollie chase her. We got her in July. She has already grown twice her size.

Ellie's Birthday

Ellie turned 2 on August 11th. We had Grandma, Grandpa Vorwaller, Aunt Joan and her son Theo who is here visiting from Wisconsin over for BBQ hamburgers, cake and ice cream. Ellie got a Dora the explorer talking kitchen and a white fur real puppy that looks like our new puppy. I am hoping she will leave the puppy alone now. Ellie liked playing in the box more than the new kitchen. Garrett and Brandon put a big pillow in the box and blanket and Ellie wanted to sleep in the box.

Vorwaller family reunion

We had our first annual Vorwaller family reunion. We went up to Matt's Great Uncle Bob Calderwood's cabin in Coleville and camped there. While some of the families stayed in the cabin. We took up our tent trailer and slept in that. The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins. We went boating and played on the beach at Echo reservoir. Ellie is hugging Theo. Brandon and Kyle are in the Kayaks having a blast. We couldn't keep them out of the water. The rest are just hanging out enjoying the day.
